Worldwide, many projects have emerged from our Holmsted Manor community over the years, the most recent of these being a pioneering team working in Thanet, Kent.

YWAM Thanet
We believe that God has created the ‘Isle of Thanet’ as a place of incredible purpose & potential. Thanet is rich in beauty and resources - human, geographical and historical.
Since 2013, YWAM Holmsted Ministries have invested in this corner of the south-east of England with outreaches, working with churches and prayer teams in Thanet. In 2018, a small team was sent from Holmsted Manor to Thanet, working towards having a permanent YWAM team based in the area. God has since opened the way across Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and the villages in Thanet for ministry and outreach.
Welcome is at the core of who we are, welcoming God and welcoming others. As a small pioneering team, we live in the different towns across Thanet, ‘loving our neighbour’ . We celebrate the nations, welcoming them here in Thanet and going to the nations when we feel God’s call.
As YWAM Thanet, we have built connections within the local church, hosting YWAM teams, creative outreach, training, intercession, pilgrimage, worship, and prayer. We have been regularly involved in ministries providing safe places for people to integrate into community, including a women’s project and an English learning community.
