Mission Builders

Mission Builders have played a major role in making Holmsted Manor what it is today. A Mission Builder is somebody who has specific practical skills that we need and are essential to us moving forward in ministry here at Holmsted Manor.

Who is a Mission Builder?

Mission Builders are people who have never done a Discipleship Training School but would like to take a time from their job or retirement, giving their time and professional skills to what God is doing through YWAM and specifically Holmsted Manor.

Where would you serve?

Mission Builders have played a major role in making Holmsted Manor what it is today. They serve in many ways, maintenance, especially qualified carpenters, plumbers, and electricians (UK qualifications); groundskeeping /horticulture; and professional experience in areas such as food services and housekeeping.

These needs change over time but we are always looking for people who are professional, competent and qualified. We have a beautiful property which we hope to look after and preserve for the next generation, and some jobs (such as building) need to meet regulations, so are you qualified (*HND, NVQ or its equivalent) in any of the area’s below?

  • carpenter*
  • plumber*
  • electrician*
  • mechanical engineer*
  • groundskeeper*
  • horticulturalist*
  • soft furnishings, upholster & draper

This list isn’t exhaustive, but please enquire if you have other skills that you think may relevant.
