Effect is a modular course developed by the team here at Youth With A Mission, Holmsted Manor for those who have a busy life but want to discover more of God’s heart for His world.
Over three termly modules, we will help you grow in areas of your faith as together we consider how to effectively serve our communities – both locally and internationally – developing understanding and tools to apply what we learn.
The course will include, lectures from teachers based all over the world, each term you will have a course related book and at least one opportunity for outreach to our surrounding area.

Effect 2015
We will meet twice each month during the termly modules on a Monday evening, from 7 - 9.30pm.
Module 1: Identity: Looking at God’s identity and ours in Him.
Module 2: Mission
To include an optional short term summer missions trip (1 or 2 weeks).
Module 3: Biblical Worldview
In this module we will investigate and encounter how is my worldview formed, exploring ideas such as:
- What is worldview?
- What is christian worldview?
- Belief systems: Postmodernism, Humanism, other world faiths, the New Age and other elements that influence worldview.
- What does God say about the “big questions”?
- And how does a biblical worldview influence and change nations?

Please commit to a whole term, but feel free to join any modules.
1. One module ( 6 weeks/ 3 months) is £25
OR
2. Sign up and commit to all 3 terms at a 10% discount for the whole year at £67.50
**This non-residential course is open to those currently living in the UK and with easy access to participate locally (e.g. Sussex/Surrey/Kent).**
