We are happy that you are considering joining us as a full-time missionary at YWAM Holmsted Manor! If you have completed a Discipleship Training School and would like to explore the possibility of joining staff, please contact: personnel@holmsted.org.uk. *Please note that YWAM does not offer any paid positions and successful completion of a YWAM DTS is a prerequisite to joining a full time position at YWAM Holmsted Manor.
We are looking for people who are willing to get involved in every area of community life, even if your experience and expertise might be quite specific. Everyone here at Holmsted serves in several areas at once so you will never find yourself stuck in just one role! Along with other roles and responsibilities, you will find yourself involved with cooking in the kitchen, preparing hospitality rooms for guests, repairing things in maintenance and helping us to care for our grounds as well as taking part in our weekly local outreaches.
Possible areas of service are:
- Kitchen manager
- Accounts
- Kids and youth ministry (experienced or interested to learn/work on it)
- IT Staff
- Grounds
- Skilled Maintenance Staff
- Administrators
- Communications
- Hospitality
- Training course staff (for DTS or second-level UofN courses)
IF I AM ACCEPTED, WHEN CAN I ARRIVE?
Each May and September is when new team members arrive. You will start with a few days of Orientation before you jump into service here at YWAM Holmsted Manor.
For non-Brits, your visa must be applied for and granted before you can come.
