What's the process?
How many references do I need and who should they be?
You will need contact details for two references for your application. One should be a parent/guardian and the other someone who knows you well such as your youth group leader or another adult in the church. This helps us to get a better idea of who you are. We will contact them directly and once we have heard back from them, we will make a decision on your application for the summer.
How long will it take to complete the application form?
The application will take you 5 - 10 minutes to complete.
What happens after I complete the application form?
After applying, expect to receive a confirmation email from our Mission Adventures team who will then guide you along the process. We will contact your referees for you. Once we have received your references, we will make a decision about you joining Mission Adventures for the summer. Once you have been accepted, we will be in contact with you about getting ready for your adventure, buying flights to your outreach nation and a few other bits and pieces.
